Drive Digital Presence Through Organic Social, Witness Growth Of 314 Studio

Background

I know Chihiro (Handmade studio jewelry – 314studio) from the American Craft Show in Baltimore in 2025. She was a very well recognized artist, highly educated in art, went through all art training, followed master level artist before going silo and creating her own studio. Chihiro told me that she was aware that the customers were changing, people were more accustomed to buying online, fewer people were coming to shows in person but nothing seemed to have worked after some initial SEO work done on the website. It was then I decided that I wanted to help her! Many artists, like Chihiro, hired media agencies to do website development and digital media. However, they failed to see results. When I approached Chihiro, I recall that she had some doubts, but she was also equally convinced that E-commerce was no longer something that she could ignore.

There are many things I taught Chihiro. In this article, I want to focus on organic social. 

Problem Statement

314 Studio has active social media, mostly used to engage existing followers or people who Chihiro met at the show. The potential of attracting new followers and new buyers was not thoughtfully leveraged.

  • Awareness - 314 Studio had challenges reaching out to non-followers. Most of the content was consumed by followers. 
  • Consideration - Most people would not know that 314 Studio operates online. Though there could be the desire of knowing what 314 Studio offers and when there could be new releases and sales, the FB and IG posts did not always encourage engagement and interactions with 314studio.com. When the content was created for those who knew 314 Studio, Meta would naturally promote it to existing followers. 
  • Conversion - When people did not know the existence of the website, it became increasingly difficult to help them find the special gifts/jewelry for themselves and others. 

Media Leveling Approach 

  • Curate 314 Studio brand voice - Chihiro and I have weekly session to uncover her brand differentiators, brand personalities, and her inspiration in her brand. We came up with strategies/tactics to apply her voice into all digital content. Followers and non-followers want to know about 314 Studio and what makes the brand special. We will give them just that. With each post, we want to give everyone the experience as if they were directly talking to Chihiro!
  • Coach IG & FB best practices - from structures to viral topics/techniques, story, reel, carousel, long video, we apply all best practices with the brand in mind. We design, plan, roll out, and scale content that is intentional across full funnel to give different customer segments what they are looking for. 
  • Analyze media metrics for growth opportunities - Are we really doing well? Has anything changed? We look at success metrics weekly to see growth opportunities. We workshop to identify ways to improve the content score and enable more reach and engagement. 
  • Meta ads - Advertising is a booster. With Chihiro's weekly improving content score, we feel confident to give it a boost. Through sales driven ads, we drive 120% potential buying customers to visit the website, month over month.

Results

None of this would have worked without the collaboration between 314 Studio and Media Leveling. Media Leveling coaches, 314 Studio listens and applies the learnings, consistently, and persistently. It is hard to believe that all of this happened only after 2 months of learning about organic social. It proves again that the right coaching leads to success. It can happen fast.
